The Role
We are currently seeking a motivated and proactive Personal Assistant to work closely with the Managing Director and back up to the receptionist on a part-time basis in our Brisbane CBD office.
The successful applicant should possess well-developed drafting and communication skills, and experience with digital marketing platforms. The right candidate should have a genuine interest in marketing and events.
Your main duties will include:
· Assisting the director with client events, maintaining the website, and administration of various platforms, along with any other digital marketing
· Experience working in, or with a strong interest in marketing and the drive to help clients succeed.
· Matter management and document filing
· Preparing template documents and basic correspondence
· General office and administrative support
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
· Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and interpersonal) with a diverse range of clients including non-English backgrounds
· Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage priorities and deadlines under pressure
· Ability to work in a high paced environment with competing demands
· Self-motivation and team orientation

Accounting and Administration Assistant
The Role
We are currently seeking a professional and experienced Accounts Assistant to join our Brisbane CBD office on a part-time basis.
This role would suit someone with at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role, who is an expert in using MYOB AccountRight, and is looking to further their career and play a pivotal role in our Law Firm. The right candidate will be highly organised with a strong work ethic and a flexible and open approach.
Your main duties will include:
· Accounts Receivable functions, including preparing and emailing invoices to clients, and proactively following up on overdue invoices
· Accounts Payable functions, including processing of supplier invoices and liaising with suppliers where there are issues
· Monthly reconciliation of bank accounts and credit card account
· Assisting with month-end processes and reporting
· Point of contact for external bookkeeper for BAS and IAS returns, attending to bookkeeper’s queries in a timely manner
· Setup and maintenance of clients and suppliers in MYOB
· Assisting with payroll when required
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
· Advanced skills with MYOB and Microsoft Office.
· A good working knowledge of Australian tax, GST & FBT principles
· A proactive, energetic and confident working style
· Ability to work in a high paced environment with competing demands
· Meticulous attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
· Ability to work independently with initiative, as well as to work in a team
· Tech savvy with strong computer skills
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Ability and confidence to identify processes that could be improved on, make suggestions and implement change

· Completed at least two years of a Bachelor of Laws
· Interested in pursuing a career in commercial law
· Previous position in a law firm or in a legal environment will be viewed favourably but is not a pre-requisite.

· Ability to analyse and review contracts and other legal documents.
